My latest projects

For Baby Prator...who will be joining us in May:

I usually only make these as gifts, but this one is being raffled off to raise money for the teen ASP trip this summer. If you want a chance to win it, buy tix from the kids going on the trip:

It was a nice change to make a PINK baby blanket and I love these fabrics, very retro. All my friends have had boys so I've been using a lot of blue/green/yellow so the girly colors are a nice change :)

Shoes (for Chris)!

We all know that I love shoes, but check out what the FedEx guy dropped off for Chris today:

Fireplace Update

My parents gave me these candle sticks for Christmas and they are perfect for the fireplace! I've been meaning to post them forever...if I waited too much longer, Chris will be able to see them in person.

Coffee Mug

So I spoke to Chris last week and he said that someone on at the TAC stole is favorite coffee mug and he was peeved about it. Being a good wife, I went to Starbucks and bought him a similar one with the twist lid (his fav. feature) and took this photo so he could see it. Chris called after seeing the photo and let me know that he found his mug and that it wasn't stolen but he still wants to keep this one too:)

Mail

At the request of Chris, please stop sending mail to him :) The end is now in sight and they have had a slow down in mail delivery so he doesn't want to risk not getting things in time. Thanks!

Just a few photos!

This photo makes me laugh every time I see it...Maxi was trying to playing fetch and I was trying to study (see books in the background). I give you one guess who got to do what they wanted:

He was hiding one of his toys in the pillows on the guest bed:

Check out the beautiful sapphire earrings/necklace that Chris sent me for Valentine's Day from Afghanistan:

The Cone!

Here are a few photos of Max, post surgery this week. He only has to wear the cone when I'm not around to monitor him.
